Prisoners of the Japanese: Pows of World W- hardcover, Gavan Daws, 9780688118129

Prisoners of the Japanese
It should be a must-read manual for the people in the world; more for the military forces in the USA and Japanese in that islands. There are so many conscientious honorable Japanese that they never know the behind story of ancestral atrocities. the author’s effort to stay neutral, but true fact, sometimes leaned toward the sympathy whichever story he was in. It is a misfortune that this masterpiece went unnoticed to the world public. Literarily well-written, historically outstanding-researched, kowtow to the writer. This tolls to the world, never to recur.
Three Came Home Paperback Agnes Newton Keith

Three came home
Feminine side of prisoner of war is well described. Though concise, it tells so wide range of the time pertinently. It has the quality of literary high value. Though the three, an infant son and the husband in her, went through the torture, the instinct of the extreme hatred is well refined. I felt I was with her family in those ordeal. Never, never, never again should it occur in our future. Her message outcries!
I Attacked Pearl Harbor: The True Story of America's POW #1

I attacked Pearl Harbor
The writer was too considerate on the part of captor. He omitted so great a part of the story after he was caught. Also after he was repatriated back to Japan. He tried too hard to politically correct for both side, USA and Japan. It ran with too many “I’s” with some spelling mistakes.
