Wood is nice, pieces not discrete to county.
It is wood, that is real nice, but we were disappointed to see that each colored county was not its own singular piece. Looking at this puzzle you would think that. Now was it to have all discrete pieces relating to each county it would have been stellar and 5 stars hands down British Isle teaching tool. We wanted the children to see the shape of each county and to explore why boundaries were where they were.
It is not too much to expect puzzle pieces that are typically the size of regular puzzle pieces, 3/4" x 3/4" for example.
Laser cutter anyone? Or maybe we have to settle for cardboard. ah well.
