YAESU SP-8 EXTERNAL SPEAKER W/FILTER

Typical Yaesu
I purchased this speaker for my FT-1000MP radio. It matches the styling of the radio exactly, and sounds GREAT! The filters work well, and can be set for different operating conditions. It's nice to have both pre-sets for CW or SSB, and also to be able to set the filters individually. The filters can also be used with headphones, by plugging them into this speaker instead of the radio. The quality of the speaker and accessories was apparent right out of the box, typical fantastic Yaesu quality. The packaging is awesome, and will ensure that the product gets to it's destination regardless of rough handling during shipping. Another awesome Yaesu product! I own several Yaesus, including the FT-1000MP, an FT-2000 with speaker and DMU, an FT-736R, and an FT-857D. After owning Yaesu radios, I don't want any other brand!
