In the good old days, I worked as an optician, eyeglass store manager and loved it. Of the thousands of spectacles I have fitted, they never received a less than perfect pair. I was not a wiz, (with add on s.) Eyes are the window to one s own heart.

Pleasantly surprised
This is a lens for when you just cannot back up on foot, anymore. The images are sharp. I’ve found no problematic color fringes, and with even a marginal 1.4 teleconverter, the lens makes an excellent 15.5mm/f5.6.
