Great for taking space, to divert air across your used DIMM modules!
If you're running a server and you're doing highly intense RAM workloads, these help buy up space, so air is forced to pass by your RAM modules. I recommend this as a best practice for all servers!

Half stars because it's a single link adapter.
4 of 4 found this helpful Using the same dual link cable delivering 144hz 1ms times to my gaming monitor. I tried this and it cut me down to 60hz. Will it work with a dual link cable, yes. Is it capable of giving you dual link speeds on a dual link cable, no.
