The Go-To Book on Purple Martins
As a novice to Purple Martin's, I was looking for a complete education on how to attract, feed, house and protect these birds. The book provided detailed information on all of these aspects and more. It also gave strict instructions to take down the housing after the Martin's have headed south so competing birds don't occupy their homes that will be reinhabited by the Martins after you put up the following year in time for the scouts. I highly recommend.

So easy, it's insane
1 of 1 found this helpful Due to back issues, I was afraid my gardening days were limited. A friend of mine who is a Master Gardener sent me a You Tube video on straw bake gardening. The subject matter intrigued me. I did additional research on the subject and wanted step by step written material to help me with the conditioning of the bales, placement of plants, etc. This book is my bible. I highly recommend it.

Best Campground Book out there
Yes, it is a very tick book with thin pages but it is a valuable resource. For tent, pop up or rV campers this book gives you the amenities and things to see in the area. Unfortunately Woodland's Camp Directory was purchased by another company and is not nearly as informative or unbiased. The book I purchased is 31 years old no. All I have to do is call the prospective campgrounds I will use and update the rates. I used to have a 1994 edition and didn't bring it with me when I moved. I would have kept it if I knew this amazing resource would no longer be available.
