Extremely disappointed
4 of 9 found this helpful I bought the disc version of Turbotax so that I could do my taxes on my own computer without having to connect to the internet. I understood that I would have to print the completed forms and then mail them in. But my goal was to not have to connect to the internet.
I loaded the disc, ran the program, and entered the information. When trying to execute the program it wrote "Do not file" on each of the tax forms. The program said I had to get updates (via the internet) . This was exactly what I did not want to do. The software is useless if you don't connect to the internet.
It I wanted to connect to the internet, I could have purchased a downloadable version for less money and gotten the same results.
I give this a 1 star because if forces you to connect to the internet.
