Achilles heel of Craftsman air compressor
2 of 2 found this helpful This weak casting connecting rod breaks easily. Had it been forged or made from steel instead of aluminum I would not be on my 3rd set. Need someone to make an improved version (solid) instead of I-beam at the part that sheared in the photos shown.
