8 years of Rinnai
I purchased a Rinnai tank less commercial hot water system 8 years ago. I thought it would hold up better than one that was residential. The unit stopped working about two weeks ago. I bought a new Digital Remote Control but that was to no avail. It was all plastic and did not look to be a substantial product. So we disconnected the two wires on the old one and plugged in the new one. While the new remote worked, the unit was still didn't. I called my plumber and he looked at it and said the whole unit was shot. I did some research and found the Rinnai had some PVC parts and other parts that would not stand up to constant use. So I bought a Naviens system (with all stainless steel parts) Works like a charm.
