Comes in handy...

Works well on CRT tvs.

I used this adapter on an hdmi media box to an old school sony trinitron. It worked as well as it can. The screen still cuts off a little bit- but not enough to be inconvenient. The good thing is that this adapter can downscale to 480i. But you have to make sure your device is set that way for the adapter to work. It may not detect it automatically. Adjust your device first.
