Great horn, few things to get use to, but great sound and action.

This is a sweet sounding easy to play instrument. I play in a community band in Seattle, WA and it is fun experience with this horn. Here' are the ins and outs of it, and what you need to know to make it work, best. The instrument is tuned A-443, and it plays concert middle C very flat, B very flat, and D in the open position very flat. First thing is to get in tuned to A-440. Purchase a Denis Wick 4MD mouthpiece. The instrument has a European shank so small and large shank mouthpieces don't fit. Also, get an adapter for European Shank, the Horn Guys from California have those. When I added those to parts the instrument tuned right up. Second thing to get done. Learn to play middle "C" with the fourth valve. Middle "C" fourth valve is spot on. Also, B' with valves 2 and 4, perfect. And, play the D above Middle "C" with valves 1 and 2. It is spot on this way. Db or C#, use 2 and 3. This is not a compensating instrument so below the staff between Eb to B Natural you will have to add a chromatic. The Tone is great, and the valves have remarkable speed. You will have to get use to emptying the water key like a French Horn most of the time. I've been playing this horn for a couples of years, now. This horn is awesome. If you want to play a Euphonium, you will really dig this one. The rotary valves seldom, I mean seldom, need to be oiled, and one of the values stuck once in two years. The Range is incredible.

Not for Windows 10

This product, to the best of my knowledge, is not working with Windows 10. The Drivers will not load.

Doesn't fit and messes up the sound.

Hardly fits the PS4 Controller, once I got this in place it would connect very well and made the audio crackle. I never got to the point where I could type anything with it, so I can't say if that feature works. Save your money.
