Fun to watch
such a fun movie - love the costumes. and the disc only format is ideal. Maybe not the purists Jane Austin - but a treat in its own way.

pretty exciting
I've read all the January series, and enjoyed them a lot. This one even more than some of the others. Very exciting, and vividly conjures up that period. I'm an historian and I love historical mysteries, Hambly gets the details right. Unlike some authors who claim to be accurate but arn't. I tried reading it on my libraries' website - it definitely was better with a hard copy. Looking forward to the next one.

slim but sharp
its a skinny little book - but well written. no flab here. I enjoyed it and wish there were more Kate Martinelli books. Much as I enjoy Mary, and the freestanding ones like Folly and Lock down. One of my favorite authors
