Not genuine or for vintage Fenders
1 of 1 found this helpful These are reproduced shallers made in Taiwan. Cheap metal, thin and have pits in chrome plating. Genuine? No... Will use on cheap project diy guitar. Remember what your parents said. You get what you pay for...

Looks great. And does sounds good.
Got as a Christmas gift for my son. Took awhile to intonate and tune. Lowered action, and now plays well. Goes out of tune after 20 minutes. So new locking tuners, and strings. Great little beginner guitar for the price. Son loves it so that's all that matters.

It's a neck plate from Fender...
It is what it is. Looks like the old one. Hopefully will last another 25 years...
