Do not buy
Backligting is just that. The light is supposed to come from behind the screen. This clock has a small bulb in the upper left portion of the clock face and barely shines across the front to illuminate the numbers.

If you want to "brighten" the sound from your Harley....buy immediately.
I am a sound audio maniac. My home, truck, boat and now my Harley, explode with clean sound from the stereo systems. I upgraded my HD Ultra with speaker lids, the HawgWired Dash Tweeters and replaced my HogTunes amps with is single amp from JM Rokker. I had the system installed and was waiting on my dash tweeters to arrive. I fired up the new amp and was very pleased with the sound. Once I installed the HawgWired tweeters, I was absolutely amazed at the difference these two small tweeter pods made. Worth every penny. Would not hesitate to add these to any batwing fairing.

Works very well, once we figurred out how to use it.
I have a year model older unit that got struck by lightning. The new receiver came with a CD containing the instructions, but would not load on either of my computers. Had to go to YouTube to figure out how to get going. Once we figured it out, the unit was beyond our expectations. I have always relied on Yamaha electronics for all of my sound systems. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants a great surround sound / theater effect in their home. My unit is matched up with Klipsch speakers and a Sony subwoofer and sounds awesome.
