The Brilliantly Designed but Canon Dumped Pro 1 Camera
16 of 18 found this helpful A really great all in one compact, flip screen, RAW capable, little carry (almost) anywhere near pro level camera. Both Nikon and Canon have dropped these kinds of cameras for who knows what dumbass marketing reasons... And they really have NO REPLACEMENT CAMERAS AVILABLE. Nikon is stuck with near half frame and Canon, God love um, has both full and partial frame DSLRs but, hey, they just can't and won't do what the little PowerShop Pro 1 can easily do already! And I own and use many brands of pro level DSLRs, SInar backs/cams and Hasselblad H2s with Imacon backs....
The clowns dropped a very good concept camera. Too bad they couldn't sell enough (I guess)...
Oh well.
