Used with Samsung PM961
Bought a few such converters to test out and found out to be roughly of the same performance.
Tested as a boot disk with Samsung PM961 on a Dell T5600 with Dual Xeon E5-2660 with 64GB RAM and achieved Read 2,378MB/s and write 1,328 MB/s.
When used with a HP EliteDesk 800 G1, a much higher read of 3,286 MB/s was attained and a slightly lower write of 1,212MB/s.
Placed in a PCIe 3.0 slot gives 2378MB/s read and 1328MB/s write. However, in a PCIe 3.0, it yields about 1800MB/s read and 1400MB/s write.
This adapter seems to have the full bandwidth of 3,940MB/s for PCIe 3.0 4x.

A perfect workstation Graphic Card
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought this to replace the noisy gaming changing from a noisier Radeon to a less noisy Geforce. I don't play games but do a lot of photos and videos so this is sufficient.

Huge improvement in speed
Achieved 190MB/s read and 178MB/s write. Above 80% faster in reading as compared to the Seagate Barracudar 3TB it replaces
