All the older Ping models are fantastic and the ISI is no exception.
2 of 2 found this helpful With the marketing effort companies make to get consumers to buy their latest product, we can easily forget how good some older models really are. The Ping clubs from the 80's and 90's especially fall into that category. I used a set of Ping Eye irons for over 20 years, loved them, and ditched them thinking I needed to update my equipment. Yada, yada, yada, about 20 sets later I'm back to an older set of Pings and I feel like I'm home again.
The ISI model does everything well for me...distance, control, confidence at address. It has the stock ZZ-65 shaft which I think is absolutely fantastic. The Becu model is aesthetically very appealing to me, but I think any of the other ISI models would feel and perform as well without paying the premium for the rarity of this metal.

OK product for the money.
Print is too light and there doesn't seem to be a way to adjust it.
