A Really Great Purchase
This is one of several Palm World Voices creations that I never want to be without! I have two homes and have one at each place. I have bought it for several friends and relatives and gifted it to them. I especially enjoy the uplifting, mystical-sounding music and the intriguing video images found on the dvd. But the PWV products are a whole package; there's the dvd, a cd, area map, and informative, colorful soft-cover book which provides perspective to the topic. I have all of the Palm World Voices sets; but, Vedic Path, Spirit, and Africa are my favorites...all for the same reasons listed above. You'll enjoy it repeatedly!

EXCELLENT/The Best Available
I have/had a number of the multi-disc National Parks compendiums. This one is definitely the best of them. The production values are very hi-def and creative. And the scripted narrative is well-written and well-delivered. So far, I have watched two of the three discs and the third one is in the process of being viewed; they are all uniformly great! Spend your money, be informed, be entertained!

HDMI, PAL, NTSC, REGION-FREE.....Yes!
Have used the Philips 2880 for many years and am a devoted fan. I like it's small-ish size, the fact that it will play PAL and NTSC formats for any region-code worldwide (or is hackable to be made capable of doing that!), it upconverts (when necessary) to HD 1080 output and has a HDMI port to play the dvd to an HD tv for a really great picture (whether the input disc is PAL or NTSC). Am slowly replacing all of my other single disc dvd players to the 2880 model. I never want to be without at least one Philips 2880!
