LITTLE FEAT'S SOPHOMORE ALBUM HITS ALL THE RIGHT NOTES
As a life long boomer active musician, Little Feat remains to this day one of my all time favorite bands. They were so inventive, and brought a classic mix of all the American music styles together in a super stew of New Orleans funk, jazz, rock, and even country. This 2nd album is a stop along their development path, and the last album before a major lineup change. But you can hear all the roots of the band that are carried over into the next lineup. Highly recommend the entire Little Feat collection, and Sailin Shoes is a beginning bright spot for this band.
