They moved for this?
Disc one gets you interested, disc 2 is seemingly a filler and disc 3 almost makes it across the line. I have been a devout DZ fan for every season. this season has left me wondering why they bothered spending all the money to move across Canada to set up shop again when this season falls short of anything other than getting rid of most of the cast and closing them off. I could have written a better season which would have given the show great intensity and closure, "if thats what they were looking for". For now we are left in the air still with unanswered questions. Hopefully they don't go the way of the spin off with the new JJ character before exploring what has the potential to be a great finale for Johnny, purdy and stillson if they are willing to get some real creative juices flowing. Rob Zombie has outdone himself in this classic remake masterpiece, whilst staying true to the character he has put his own spin on this cult classic bringing Michael Myers to life from child to tormented soul. Zombies version follows the life of Myers and some previously unknown facts like where Michael acquired the famous daunting mask and how he came to be wearing the scrappy coveralls. We also get a glimpse into how evil this larger than life serial killer is, he doesn't care how nice you have been to him you are just another victim in Michael's eyes. Over all this one is a must see for fans of the classic Halloween movies and also for the new fans to the crazy world of Michael Myers. Also be sure to watch the special features, not only is it truly informative but I never thought I would see a blooper reel on such a serious flick but as Zombie has shown us he does things different and he has the formula to make it work. 10/10 ;-) make sure the lounge is against the wall........
