3 1/2 glorious hours of some of the best music you'll ever hear.

This wonderful live cd w/dvd has so brightened my life with its marvelous rhythms and superb musicianship that I've given it to three of my friends. 75 min. of Irish American music (no "Danny Boy", just flawlessly performed reels and songs, some original, some traditional) with another 2 hrs. 15 min. of the performance and interviews with band members. This cd has it all: romance, mysticism, joy and sadness and the kind of pile-driving tempos that, if your foot isn't tapping, you're probably dead.

Great early stuff from a country original!

This is a collection of early Earle. Solid country/rock hooks with Earle's trademark sharp and penetrating lyrics. "Guitar Town" ("got a 2-pack habit & a motel tan"), "Someday" ("got me a '67 Chevy, she's low & sleek & black/Some day I'll put her on that interstate and never look back") and the outlaw anthem "Copperhead Road": all classics. When he's not in jail or trying to kill himself w/drink and drugs, his humor, passion and anger make him a peer of Willie and Waylon. Not a bad cut on the cd. Enjoy!!
