My oldest daughter turned 7 last week. This was a no-brainer gift.
She loves the Pokemon movies & cartoons. But she gets easily frustrated when there is too much reading, which she is learning in 1st grade right now.
Her interest in the game and having a new multifunctional pokeball controller is helping a ton.

Great game, and one of the coolest Collector's Editions of all time
