KIller build quality, smooth focus, worth the extra cash...
this lens really appealed to me as I have been buying each and every model that they have come out with since they started. This one was purchased with shooting video in mind. The plastic versions of this lens were just that-- plastic. This one feels really good and you could count on it shoot after shoot to give consistent results. The build quality is really worth the extra $$ in my opinion.

pretty cool
It really fits well, once you pull off the rubber part on the battery door of the camera. Note: you will not be able to get the camera to power up until you gently remove the rubber cap on the battery door. Once you get it off, the grip will function well. I just wish it had a vertical back button focus button--then it would be truly perfect!!!!
