He bought the game on March 12th, and the game was shipped on March 13th. He left feedback complaining I was "a little late shipping" the game. I'm not sure how I could have better met his expectations. I'm glad he was happy with the packaging and condition of the game. Be aware sellers, expectations are awfully high here.

Pinnacle Savage Worlds Fantasy Companion (Explorer's Ed) EX
    Sep 27, 2021
A great companion, but not an amazing one.
I will split up my thoughts according to each section that is in the book. Characters A modest selection of new background edges like knight, troubadour, and adept which serve to thematically support those archetypes. There are also about a dozen racial edges which provide unique benefits to playing as each classic fantasy race. All the basic races are there to choose from, but there aren't any new ones. I would have expected gnomes at least, though making custom races is very easy so it's not that big of a deal. Gear A sample list of prices of generic goods as well as item descriptions. Useful for GMs. Rules for traveling large distances on land, air and sea. New armor, weapons, and ammunition types. There isn't a ton of them, but they are okay. It isn't as exhaustive as the science fiction companion is with high-tech weapons. Would have liked to have seen stuff like double-swords, or maybe even rules for oversized weapons since that is a fantasy trope. The new armors are "in-betweens" of existing armors. They have one higher armor value and then another lower one when hit with a raise. My personal spotlight of this companion - sieges. Rules for supplies, siege machines, including early flamethrowers and bombards as well as several types of fortifications. It is basically an add-on for mass combat but more tactical. It has rules for all sorts of nasty warfare tactics and subterfuge. Useful for historical as well as fantasy sieges. Arcana A list of stock god templates (war, justice, healing, etc.) With bullet points listing their aspects, likely powers held by their clerics, duties they respect, and sins which they abhore. New magic backgrounds for Alchemists, sorcerers, and ritual magicians. The alchemist one is probably the most interesting and has the most thematic mechanics. A list of explanatory spell trappings (cosmetic effects of a spell which may or may not have en effect on it's application and method of casting). A list of spells. If I'm not mistaken, most of them include spells which were already in the core rules. A few new ones though. A hearty brochure of pre-made magic items, rules for generating them, magic staves, gemstones, rings, and relics. Including some rules for sentient relics (yes, I can happily report not!Stormbringer is in there too). Bestiary A really good selection of new beasties and twists on existing ones. There's your nobles, bandits, and knights. Dragon variants, mummies, harpies, and hydras, and so on. It feels pretty "rounded off" combined with the core rules' bestiary. It also has some non-myth-based originals which serve as a good medium for guestimating your own creations' statistics. Index It's an index. Some books don't have one, I'm grateful. Overall The art is good. Perhaps my favorite example is the gruesome hydra in the bestiary mid-head-sprouting. The book has this weathered stone border-work throughout. The book is out of print, unless you are a serious collector I'd hold off unless you found a good deal. Pinnacle recently released a new super powers companion for SW adventure edition so a new fantasy companion may come in a few years, it should, the fantasy companion is their oldest companion. With a revision, they could turn a good set of rules into an amazing one. The siege rules combined with magic items and the bestiary make this a pretty solid book. One that I'm glad to have in my collection. I'd heartily recommend it if you can get ahold of it at a reasonable price. Though it wouldn't be a crying shame if you wanted to just hold out and see if Pinnacle will do a new version sometime soon. I believe you can currently find a PDF online for free if you want to check it out to see if you personally would want to buy a physical copy of the fantasy companion. That's all, thank you for your time.
