Acceptable oem part

I think it is silly that vehicle manufactures use plastic parts for door handles. I've had so many (4) of these plastic GM door handles break on 2 different trucks! For such an expensive vehicle, GM should use parts that won't break so easily. I like to keep everything as original as possible, so I purchased and installed it. It fit great and looks great. Hope it lasts....
