GREAT living history
A great classics showing scenes from CV-6 and San Diego from 1940. Great shots, great history.

ONE MASSIVE BIRD
2 of 2 found this helpful At first I wasn't interested in anything 1/24 scale as it looked too impractical to build and display, but the impressive level of detail won me over. The engine alone is a project unto itself! I haven't even started on it yet, but its a value compared to 1/32 kits of similar subjects that cost even more (Tamiya 1/32 F4U = $150-200). This is definitely a great value for what you get, just be prepared to spend a lot of time building it.

Great kit for the $$$.
A fairly simple kit, but great for the price. A good modeler can easily enhance it with lot of detail.
