The “End” of “13”

Black Sabbath’s final album “13” had 12 songs, but these four songs were outtakes from the “13” recording sessions. The songs are fully finished Sabbath, excellent if you’re a fan, and probably the last songs we’ll ever get from this legendary band. A must have.

Dutch Legends

Golden Earring has been around for 50 years. You know RADAR LOVE and TWILIGHT ZONE and probably nothing else. They could be described in general terms as a Dutch boogie-bar band, comparable to perhaps Foghat. Lots of fun listening to their music, and while obviously 29 CDs is a lot, take a look at the price, only $55, less than $2/album. I took a chance and have not regretted it. If you want to test the waters first, they have a 1-CD comp called THE CONTINUING STORY OF RADAR LOVE which has their biggest hits (although inexplicably does not contain WHEN THE LADY SMILES). Golden Earring are radio legends in their home Netherlands, and it's a crime they haven't had more success in the USA, they are leaps and bounds better than many bands that have come and gone in the past 50 years.
