Nothing beats the original.
I prefer the early years of the show, mucho the same as early years of Buffy versus later years. May or may add more seasons to collection

May be best boxing movie ever.
The setting and scenery gives a person the one of best looks at the Depression Era from a handful of well-defined characters. The boxer's kids and wife have to live through the fade of a proud boxer's career as injuries have left him a shadow of his original boxing self. Gentleman JIm Braddock takes almost any job, even with little work available. A random fight turns up even though the boxing commission has pulled his license. Braddock discovers that from months of not fighting, his injuries have healed and fights his way back to his become a real Rocky and win or lose, he becomes a real people's champion. His manager almost steals the movie. Russell Crowe stars and Renee Zellweger becomes his "Adrian"
A little corny and squeezing every bit of sentimentality it can, based on real-life "hero" Jim Braddock...
