Totally worth it
1 of 1 found this helpful To begin with, I didn't expect much from this vacuum cleaner because of its fairy low price (compared to the competitors). And now, after some months have passed, I realize that the price could have been two times more than this easily, and I still would buy it!
So, the cleaner is rather simple, but yet effective. It runs for something like hour and a half with one charge, and usually by this time it gets full with dust/dirt/whatever, at least if you run the cleaner every 2-3 days.
The only drawback is a filter. Unfortunately, the quality of the filter is rather low, so you have to be really careful while cleaning it, otherwise you will have to buy a new one every month or two. But if you are careful, that is you carefully wash it after every cleaning session, than it is okay. I wasn't following this recommendations in the beginning, so I had to buy a new one. But now it looks like the filter will last for a longer time, maybe for a year or so.
Having said that, the cleaner can not be a perfect replacement of a traditional vacuum cleaner, purely because it can run only on smooth surfaces (and can have some problems with some fleecy carpets, see youtube reviews). I even managed to clean a table and a top of a cupboard with this cleaner :) By the way, it won't fall from a cupboard due to some optical sensors.
So as a fist robot vacuum cleaner this model rules. But as I said it is very simple: no base, no remote control, no fancy stuff. When (and if) this one will break, I think I will go with some more sophisticated model. But keep in mind the price! :-)
