Does Not Use RTL8192CU Chip Set
4 of 4 found this helpful The product description table lists the adapter chipset as a Realtek RTL8192CU. This is not what is inside the adapter.
If you require an adapter with the RTL8192CU chip set for use with the Channel Master DVR+ (or other devices with firmware drivers) you will be returning it.
If the chip set is not an issue for you, then the adapter and it's driver may be fine, but I was unable to verify such operation.

Works as a Wi Fi Adapter for DVR+
This adapter worked perfectly when plugged into a Channel Master DVR+ to facilitate wireless connection to a router. The adapter uses a Realtek RTL8192CU ship set as advertised.

Connector does not fit SCH U550 phone
Product description is incorrect. The connector on this adapter does not mate with the SCH U550 phone. The adapter supplier clearly did not verify compatibility with the SCH U550 phone.
