Okay crystal....maybe I was just unlucky
1 of 1 found this helpful I got it in a timely fashion, and it was packaged well. Crystal looked beautiful, but unfortunately during the installation it cracked. I have installed many crystals and put a lot more pressure on them with no problems. Maybe I was just unlucky and got a defective one with a weak point :(
I will purchase from them again, and hope that the next time it will be a better crystal. I usually pick up crystals from a different supplier, and have yet to have an issue (out of 7 crystals). This was $15 less than what I normally pay for my crystals though. The phrase "you get what you pay for" is haunting me though, if I am honest. I have heard nothing but good things about this company though, so that is what is making me think I just happened to get one of the few that were defective. They have a good reputation for a reason.

ColaReb Is Awesome!!
I got 3 straps from Holbens recently (around 2 weeks ago). They arrived quickly, packed well, and I loved their tracking system (I am crazy and track things at an OCD level) :P I got two ColaReb leather straps (Firenze and a black leather Sienna) and a Hadley Roma Bond nato. The ColaReb straps are by far my favorite. The leather is beautiful, soft, but not flimsy, and perfectly cut. They came in just a plastic bag (and not with the red cardboard insert I saw on youtube videos). But they arrived safely. I will definitely continue to use Holben's for future horological needs. Thank you for a great service! I tried to add a photo, but apparently it is too awesome of an image...the little elves that run the internet aren't letting my pic go through :(
