Old but reliable standby
2 of 2 found this helpful This unit was received as advertised. Verified that all functional buttons worked and the radio responded appropriately. Clean and received with a copy of the manual and an aftermarket adapter/charger and a portable antenna. The power socket on these units is notorious for breaking at the PC board trace connection due to flex/torque in the jack caused by the plug. It appears to be a design flaw and hopefully some strategically placed Gorilla Glue will fortify this connection. Should say, only a real problem when the unit is used in a non-attached mobile "mount" config.(e.g. in a console tray or floor tray. Satisfied with this old standby.
