Trower sets the strings on FIRE!!!
A great Robin Trower DVD!! If your a Trower fan, you will not go wrong with this recorded concert. I wish I had not waited so long to purchase it!

Those "Boys From Texas" keeping it real!!
A great ZZ Top concert! I love seeing great musicians ply their craft in a live setting! This is the way it is supposed to be. Any band can crank out songs and music in a studio setting, but when the rubber meets the road, how good are they in a live venue? Well, "The Boys from Texas" keep it real playing live, and this recorded concert is no exception!! I truly enjoyed watching the concert, and had to start it all over when I reached the end. If your a ZZ Top fan, then grab this DVD. You will not be disappointed!!

BOSS ME-70.....The Multi Effects Pedal of the Gods.....
I used a Boss Me-30 for years. It worked great, but I decided to try out the Boss ME-70. First of all, the distortion effects are extremely nice. You should be able to get any sound you need, from Blues to Jazz to Heavy Distortion. A big upgrade from the Boss ME-30.I never could get a distorted sound from my Boss Me-30 that I was crazy about, but with this Boss ME-70, I have several that I love already. I havent had a need for the Pre Amp effects, as I already have a good sound from my Fender Twin Reverb amp. I really love the way each effect has knobs to dial in the sound you need. This is a huge step up from the ME-30. I think that Boss made a huge improvement with the Wah Pedal effect also. The Wah effect on this one is really nice. I have a Dunlop 535Q Wah that I use, but if I dont feel like packing the Dunlop pedal around, the Boss Wah will work out nice. I also love playing my Breedlove Acoustic/Electric through this pedal. Add some Chorus, Reverb, and a little Delay, and this baby will make some sweet sounds. I tried out some of the Pre-Set sounds, and like all multi effcts pedals, you will have some great Patches and some junk Patches. Use the ones you like, and move on, lol. I havent tried saving any of my Patches yet, still having fun using the Boss ME-70 like a bunch of stomp boxes. I am sure after the newness wears off, I will be trying to come up with some new sounds. I really like the built-in Phrase Looper. Really nice to lay down some chops, and then play some lead over it. This will make it nice coming up with some new songs and lead solo's. All in all, I think this is a huge step up in sound compared to my Boss ME-30. I am hoping this Multi Effects Pedal will last me for years to come. It seems to be built sturdy, just like my Boss ME-30 is, so time will tell. I waited several months to buy this, I havent been disappointed. Just wish I had this years ago.............
