The best part about a great adventure like this is that its not fiction.
If you know anything about Shakletons 1914 expedition to Antarctica you would want these two books in your possesion. South-is personally written by Shackleton and I will be reading it soon. Endurance is well written and has many pictures taken by a professional photographer. I read Endurance first not knowing what to expect and like all great stories i've been looking for others.
