A+++ Very fast shipping. Item is like new, in perfect condition. Very honest seller, he refund some of the money, from shipping, because Ebay overcharged me fo shipping. I highly recommend this honest seller. Thank you for the very nice backpack.

Mars Black Telescoping Universal Metal Detector Shaft Fits 50 Different Machines
Jul 12, 2018
Exactly what i had expected.
Got this shaft for my Fisher F19. It will work on most Fishers and Teknetics of the same type/era. It was easy to set up for that model. No cutting necessary and I can return to the original shaft if needed. I bought it to be able to make my detector as compact as possible for carrying and it does that very well. I absolutely love the grip on this thing. Much better than the original foam handle. I gather it's about a third of the size of a regular shaft and coil assembly once compacted. I don't care much for the arm rest design. It works but the underside "stand" is not as tall or large as the Fisher original making the detector just a little more unstable when set on uneven ground. No biggie. The instructions are almost useless. Most people will not need them much but seriously, Mars could have done something better. Mars could have supplied one more detector bracket with the kit. I would love to set another detector head on a separate bracket and carry it in a backpack. I would have the option of swapping for a high, medium or low frequency detector at will without carrying one more shaft. I hear some say "but just buy a multi frequency detector" NO, that's not the same as having 2 very different machines with a whole different set of options. I agree with the poster who said Mars needs to add special brackets for other detectors. As it is, it's not exactly universal.
