Perfect low cost filter
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a must have filter set up if you're on a tight budget. I used this on my 55 gal tank that was prone to algae blooms even with 50% weekly water changes. Instructions are a bit lacking due to being translated from Chinese.
To make it simple for you un-experienced people the flow on this unit runs top to bottom then drawn through the UV to return to tank,so in my particular set up chamber 1 (very top) I filled with bio balls, chamber 2 I placed ceramic rings, chamber 3 I filled with Zeolite due to this being a "goldie" tank, Chamber 4 (very bottom) I placed the activated carbon and the "polishing" filter. this was set up on an established tank so have run it in conjunction with the other canister filter till the bio gets established in the new one. Overnight the algae bloom was eliminated and water crystal clear ! , and has stayed that way for the last week. This thing runs quieter than the old unit I had in it and hoping this holds up for the long haul water tests have been perfect and this unit may make water changes to 50 % once a month now. Wish Id taken before and after pix but wasn't expecting this kind of performance from a unit that cost 1/3 of my previous one.

Record snow for October
Ironically arrived on early(predate previous early snow), record snow fall( most snow to fall in October) of 7", fit,worked, my single stage was back to new throwing wise.

Good bang for buck recommend this product
1 of 1 found this helpful Saw a similar product without the flexibility of 3 tips but 3 cups in local brick and mortar store for over 200. Being as only using this for personal models took a chance and not disappointed I did. If you're looking for 2, 3 hundred dollar performance from a 40 dollar gun/brush then don't buy this and expect it if looking for biggest bang for your buck than by all means don't worry. The model pictured was entirely painted with this product. Also the letters in the pic as well as the work in progress model.I do have experience with painting in the automotive field so already had the nuances down of airbrushing if you are just beginning or wanting to learn this is a good starter set to go with, I am using a hobby air compressor with a water trap inline.
All three tips were used in the painting of this, it is an internal mix brush, so if you don't have, get yourself a cleaning kit as well you will need it to clean the passages or performance will suffer. I feel that this is the reason some give a bad review of products like this. The included wrench is the only thing I found lacking in any quality but who doesn't have a wrench even a crescent floating around? LOL
