Overall good...
Overall nice kit, though the one I ordered has some warping in the right fuselage half. Details good, overall fit looks good aside from the warping mentioned above. FWIW this is the same kit as the Kinetic T-45 with nicer decals.
Overall recommended for experienced modelers.

Monograms Best
I've heard it said that this is perhaps THE best kit that Monogram has ever released, and now that I've had a chance to purchase one and look it over I tend to believe it. Make no mistake, this is a recent (In relation as to when this kit was re-released) re-boxing of the classic kit. The molding is still very good and very crisp, meaning no flash, mold pins, sink holes, and details are very clean. This in turn would either mean a retooling or the old molds being significantly cleaned up. The only "ding" I would have against this particular kit is that it has raised surface details, but keeping in mind that this model was originally produced in 1974 when that was normal. Even so, this kit manages to do many things right such as texturing the fabric covering of the flight control surfaces and corrugated metal wing surfaces. The subject matter should otherwise speak for itself.
Verdict: Highly recommended!

New Gundam Series
Brand new model from the Gundam series "Iron Blooded Orphans". This is basically an unlabeled 1/100 scale version of the Barbados, following the also recently released HG 1/144 version. If that last sentence was confusing, basically it's a matter of understanding Bandai's rating system! LOL!
In the hopes of avoiding a lengthy explanation of how this rating system works, simply put this is a new model unto itself, and not an up-scale of the smaller 1/144 Barbados. Compared to Gundams of a similar size this kit is easier to assemble, yet manages to pull off a greater level of detail in comparison to its smaller sibling.
Quality is up to the usual Bandai standard... in other words excellent! Parts are all crisp, clean, and fit precisely. This kit like other Gundam models is all snap-fit... no glue required, and holds together very well. Decals are minimal, consisting of a small sticker sheet, and that's it. Interestingly where most Gundams in the past use a clear plastic for the eyes, this one uses a solid lime green. Think I prefer the clear parts instead!
Construction was straightforward and again easy for it's size. The instruction manual while written in Japanese was very easy to follow along with as it is all picture driven. In fact this is one area that Bandai has improved with over time... While all of their previous manuals use extensive use of pictures to show the construction sequence, some of the older books get a bit... cluttered.
Overall this is a fun kit, looks great, and reasonably priced for what it is. Verdict: Recommended!
