Standard Kitchen Aide is More compact and weighs less
5 of 5 found this helpful I like that I can move it more readily than my Kitchen Aide Artisan. It is a little sticky to go from 1-10 highest speed. This is mildly disappointing because it’s noticeably awkward or un smooth. I also prefer the handle on the bowel of the artisan as it is a quart larger. The no spill plastic lid does not fit as well. One has to be careful because it can drop into the blade area during operation and cause a significant safety hazard.
