If you don't have a DVD player in your MacBook, installing this will be a challenge.
Most recent model Apple laptops don't have a built-in DVD drive, and I had to do some pretty serious messing around to rip the .iso from this DVD in a Windows machine and then install from that. Not for the faint of heart. Now that it's installed, the product works well from a recognition perspective. The accuracy is quite good with the included headset, but it's a much less-polished / sophisticated interface than I'm used to from the PC version. It has an annoying habit of inserting extra newlines or spaces in odd places after I make edits, and I haven't yet figured out how to add to its vocabulary. Still, I'm happy to have it and I feel it was worth the price.
