Power Right Mirror For 2000-2007 Ford Focus Passenger Side Textured Black

Poorly manufactured, unusable, no packing material

I bought this R. side mirror for my 2006 Focus ZX3 on April 30, rec'd May3rd. I wasn't able to install it due to moving, and "tried" to recently. Just bad quality all the way around and unusable. The attached mounting plate was badly plastic injection molded and badly attached to the mirror housing, the main bolt hole is conical shaped so the bolt would only grab a couple of threads then pop loose, I tightened the secondary screw and the plastic broke when I tried to get it to mount flush on the leading edge. The whole mirror wouldn't mount flush, it had a 1/8" gap on the leading edge against the window frame making it completely unusable, it would fall off since the OEM bolt had nothing to grab except 2 threads, then pop loose. I have extensive mechanical and engineering background, This is just a bad product. It was packed in a oversized box with no packing material, the mirror had punched through the box because it was rattling around during shipping. I have no idea if the motor worked since it wouldn't mount. Just a badly made cheap mirror that is unusable, money wasted!
