I can see room for improvement--a better indication of a seal, a lower price for replacement gaskets
I bought a dozen to try them out. So far, I've used two and opened one of those jars.
The jars seem to have sealed, but I don't feel 100% confident of that without the dimple in the typical metal lid. (The recommendation I've found is to take the screw top off, then try to lift the Tattler off with your hand. Of course, the real way to tell is listen for a hiss of air when you eventually open the jar for use. ;-)
The lids are fairly expensive but probably a fair value. I anticipate using them long enough that I will eventually have to replace the rubber gaskets--the prices I've seen for those on ebay are ridiculous.
You have to be careful when removing the lid to avoid damaging that rubber gasket when you open a jar. The recommendation I saw was to use something like a butter knife to pry the lid off. I don't remember for sure, but my vague recollection is that I opened the one sealed jar that I've opened so far just by pulling fairly hard with my hand--hearing the hiss made me fairly confident it had been sealed.
Some people have had trouble getting the seals to work, and I've seen a recommendation that you tighten the lids "finger tight" before processing, and then tighten the (screw) lid tighter on removing them from the canner (while still hot). I didn't do that, but seemed to get a seal.

Does what I wanted.
Overall, it does what I want (let's me listen to computer or TV audio without turning the volume up too loud for my son). Not sure of the fidelity, and it doesn't do stereo (instead, both channels of a stereo source are combined and fed to each ear. The instructions are not good. Eventually learned that to tune into the receiver each time I turned the headphones on, I had to press "reset" and then the other button one time--maybe that will vary?
