Good quality but this is a 220V only unit
The product looks well made and sturdy. However beware: this is a 220V unit with a chinese plug. Therefore it cannot be used where 110V is the norm, unless you adapt the voltage and the plug.

Good quality, works very well
This unit looks sturdy and well built. The working temperature is reached within seconds, the controls are well placed. So far I am satisfied with this product, I have reworked and soldered several PCBs with good results.
Beware: This is a unit with a chinese mains plug and it is 220V only. If you use it somewhere with different standards (North America for example), you would need to buy an adapter and voltage converter that are more expensive than the unit. There are identical units that work with 110V and have the right plug. (I had to buy one of those).

Very useful, but very poor quality
1 of 1 found this helpful If build electronic projects, these are really useful. However, the quality of the items I received is very low. The pieces come apart easily, the soldering of the cable to the hook is low quality and in my case two of the wires have detached. Fortunately, it is easy to solder them back.
