Matched almost perfectly and upgraded
After buying this drum in pretty poor shape, I decided to rebuild and resurrect it to it's greatness.. Stripped it down and when I was tightening up the lugs on the shell, one of the bolts stripped. Saw the lug on this site. I received it about 4 or 5 days later. It pretty much matches the old ones. On this picture you can see it on the right. The receiving lug for the tension rod is chrome and it sticks out a little bit higher than the originals. Also, typically there is a spring on the inside of the lug to hold the nuts in place. However, they have removed the spring and placed a rubber square piece to hold up the lug nuts instead of the spring. This was probably due to engineers complain about "buzzing" during recording sessions. Ludwig did get on this and placed foam on the insides.
Overall a good buy.
