Good enough (considering a lack of alternatives)
The Toshiba Satellite C55 series of laptops has an unusual soft-rubber hard drive caddy, instead of a hard-mounted caddy with screws. It's supposed to prevent the internal hard drive from disconnecting and also absorb shocks, but it feels squishy and not perfectly sized for the drive. It also partly obstructs the vent in the bottom panel. However, I have nothing to compare it to because my used laptop was missing it to begin with, and it's not sold new as a standalone item anywhere. It's holding the drive in place so far and it wasn't too pricey.
