Good General Purpose Unmanaged Switch
The D-Link DES-1005E is a nice little "general purpose" 5 port unmanaged network switch. It does not overheat, and has topside LED indicators that give you an indication of port activity.. The black plastic case has a curved shape to it, so don't plan on stacking things on it.... Otherwise it is a sturdy black box that performs as it should and easily expands your network topography without draining your wallet.... I recommend this one....

Wait For It...
OK... Ordered these, and yes, they did arrive, but holy geez.. these took forever to get to me.... So long in fact that one month after ordering these, I ordered a similar item from Thailand and they arrived before these did... Yet.. other items ordered from China arrived in a timely manner... It just confirms my belief that things from Hong Kong take longer to reach me than items from "mainland" China... Quality wise, they seem appropriate for the price... I will use them.

Pretty decent Power Supply in a medium sized package... By today's standards, it is physically fairly large but still it delivers the required voltage at the stated current levels. It has good reliability / longevity, and can be purchased used at a very good price point. If you have the space, then this one is as good as any..
