Each bike has 2 fasteners
1 of 1 found this helpful The fasteners are the same durable nylon fabric as the straps that mount to the vehicle. I've used the rack a couple of times and have appreciated the flexibility of these bike fasteners as our bike frames are dramatically different. If the fasteners were clips, etc. they would not be as accommodating.

Semi circle tip is ineffective
Does not adequately hold/contain condiment. A complete circle at the tip would be much more useful.
