Excellent upgrade and Results
2 of 2 found this helpful Excellent level of detail in images, advanced features and settings are available and useful (especially for major crops). Color is accurate with matched WB settings. Image size is customized, can be huge or under 10M for jpegs as needed. Frame rate is fine for my needs. As noted in the manual, AF is great except for certain conditions (noticed hunting in low contrast white objects). New hand holding techniques were needed to minimize camera movement & slight image blur under certain conditions. Overall an excellent choice.

Sharp, VR assisted works extremely well for handheld slow shutter speeds
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the best lens I've owned or used, versatile, sharp, a bit heavy/bulky and pricey, but overall it more than meets my expectations and accounts for a vast majority of circumstances when I do an event.
