Great magnification and sharp image.
I need reading glasses and was having a hard time viewing the tymptanic membrane with a regular otoscope. Using the focus dial I was able to see a sharp image of the ear drum and it was magnified larger than a conventional otoscope. Problems with this otosope is thak it sometimes fogs up and you need to wipe away the fog with a cotton swab or some alcohol. Another problem is that if you drop it in forms a dent easily. Unlike the sturdy old WA products which lasted for many years for me I need to replace this instrument every year or two. Overall its a very good product which gives you a much larger view of the TM and great for people who need reading glasses and allows them to focus the lens to see a sharper image.
