A Surreal Slice of Forgotten America
Quite the ride! Adventures of an illustrator in the 20th century. From Hollywood to New York City and most skitters in between. And the book has like a hundred illustrations that enlighten the narrative. If Mr. Blaine was best friends with John Steinbeck and Joseph Dunninger, it sort of all makes sense and kept me chuckling more that Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues as sung in a silent movie. Really.

Hope they last a while.
