Necessary Ostomy item
Price slightly below average. Product as specified.

12 L on-demand propane water heater
While it's too soon to know if the unit will be long-term reliable, it does work as intended now.
CONS:
The included "manual" has zero value.
A few items must be purchased to make the unit work here, in the USA:
3 - adapter fittings: metric F to npt M, usually 1/2" and very likely non-tapered.
If not plumbed into house supply, then a propane tank hose with pressure regulator, length as needed for installation.
2-D cell batteries with backups.
PROS:
Plenty of hot water on demand.
Because the gas igniter is battery powered, loss of utility electricity supply has no impact.
In my case, I benefit from a very large reduction in propane usage.
Once the conversion fittings were installed on the unit, easy to hook up to existing hot water supply.
